REVIEW: SMOK Prince Stick Starter Kit

Why Review The SMOK Stick Prince?

OKay so I know there are LOADS of reviews for the SMOK Stick Prince starter kit, but I had to add my thoughts on it. I didn’t do this in a normal review type style where I just vape on it for a week or so, or a few days.

What I did was I used this ONLY as an ‘out of the house, every day carry’ vape. In other words, I used my own personal mod while I was in the house and sitting at the desk, and whenever I left the house, I would leave my personal mod home and I grabbed the Stick Prince.

SMOK Stick Prince Kit - Not Impressed
  • Coil Life
  • Battery Life
  • Ease Of Use
  • Tank Included (Prince Tank)
  • How It Hits (see below)

SMOK Stick PrinceThis review sections title says it all really. NOT impressed. I thought I would be though, at least a little. SMOK puts out a new product like every other week, I know, but some of their stuff really isn’t that bad and if you kinda take it easy on their stuff, it can be okay. If you’ve read any of my vape reviews here you’ll know I LOVE my MAG from SMOK and I use it more than any other I have right now.

But this kit, the SMOK Stick Prince, I was not impressed with at all. I didn’t use it a lot, only at certain times (read below) and I didn’t over vape on it at all. So, in my head, it should have had a long-lasting and good tasting vape on it…read below to see how I tested this kit, what I thought and why!!!

My Personal Review Of The SMOK Stick Prince Starter Kit

SMOK Stick PrinceNormally when I test something out, I keep it close and just use it as I would use any other vape or mod or tank or whatever. This time, I used this vape as the one I carry with me when I leave the house.

I actually leave my house quite a bit. Every day my wife and I go on walks together, we take our youngest daughter out for walks at night and I usually do most of the runs to the stores for us.

So I spend quite a bit of time outside of the house each day.  I usually have my MAG on me while I’m out and about but for this review, I decided to use the Stick Prince as my “out of the house EDC” (every day carry).

The MAG is a good mod, but it’s heavy. You put it in your pocket and it pulls your pants or your shorts down, you carry it in your hand and you only have one hand to use for carrying other stuff like bags and so on.

So,  I thought the stick prince might be a good solution to address the weight issue the MAG has.

Let me start out by telling you what you get with the Stick Prince starter kit.

My Experience With The SMOK Stick Prince Kit.

SO like I said above I used this as an out of the house only mod. You know one that you can put in your pocket and know it won’t leak, or be so heavy it pulls our pants or shorts or whatever down. Something that hit hard enough but wasn’t too hard because you’re public.

I was actually starting out with high hopes. I know the Prince tank get some good and some bad reviews. But I personally think it’s not a bad tank. It has its pros and its cons. But I had some high hopes.

I have to say that in the beginning, it was just like I hoped. It wasn’t too heavy. It hit nicely for what I wanted and it could go in my pocket.

I took everywhere. To the store, on our walks, just out and about in general.

I actually used the crap out of this thing – lol.

But, after time I ran into an issue that really took all my hopes away.

The Stick Prince Issues I Had.

Even though I had high hopes for the Stick Prince, I was let down. I had some issues that made me not even want to use it at all.

  • Battery Life – The battery life was NOT GOOD. I would let it charge for hours, sometimes overnight, and it would still start dying in less than an hour of using it.
  • Mod Life – The mod itself, was DYING. Like not hitting anymore as it should. After about 3 days of using it, I had to hit it like I was sucking on a thick, thick milkshake. It just wasn’t a good mod.
  • Tank Pyrex – I didn’t have a glass tank. I had a pyrex tank. I looked everywhere and I could not find where the kits came like that, but somehow I got mine like that. I couldn’t see how much e-Juice was left.
  • Prince Tank Heating Up – I like the Prince tank, mostly. I do know on the MAG it heats up big time – I had the same issue with the Stick Prince. It was heating up and would get to a point I didn’t even want to put it in my pocket.

Those are the main issues I personally had. Now, it could have just been the one I got. I’ve seen it happen where someone, or even myself, get a mod or a kit and it’s messed up somehow.

That doesn’t mean all of them are like that at all.

BUT, it could be that all of them are like that.

SMOK Stick Prince Kit Conclusion

I have to say I was very disappointed in this kit. I had high hopes it was going to be an okay or even a really good “out of the house” kit to use. I was lighter, tube-ish – lol – and I was really hoping I found something I could use on the go.

With the issues, I had (Above), NO! I was wrong. Again, it could be just the kit I got. It could be that I got a messed up one. I don’t think so, but it could be.

Would I recommend anyone buy this kit – that would have to be a big NO!

I personally think it has potential if they can work out the few little bugs here and there, but I think right now it would be a waste of money and effort for a lot of people.

That is just my personal opinion though!
